Broadcast-grade life safety for Northern California's largest Hispanic network.
Univision is the largest Spanish television and radio broadcasting network in the United States. The network airs entertainment, news, and sports programming and is aimed at serving a Hispanic American audience.
Howell Electric was selected to provide fire alarm design, fire alarm systems, and pre-action systems for their new 45,000 sq ft Northern California TV studio, radio station, and corporate offices.
The fire alarm scope consisted of a new fire alarm control panel, horn strobes, duct smoke detectors, mechanical shutdown interface, fire sprinkler monitoring, and a pre-action sprinkler control system for the in-house data center.
