Our team successfully completed a large-scale fire alarm system upgrade and Emergency Radio Response Communications System (ERRCS) installation for an 8-story high-rise building, significantly enhancing the safety, reliability, and compliance of the facility for our esteemed client.

Fire Alarm Systems
System Design & Engineering
- Customized comprehensive fire alarm system layout tailored to the unique requirements of the high-rise structure.
- Engineered for full compliance with NFPA 72 standards and local fire codes.
Equipment Installation
- Deployed state-of-the-art addressable fire alarm control panels, detectors, notification devices, and modules throughout all eight floors.
- Coverage included common areas, individual units, stairwells, and mechanical rooms.
Smoke Control Integration
- Implemented a robust smoke control system designed to prevent the spread of smoke and facilitate safe evacuation during fire events.
- Automated smoke dampers, dedicated fan systems, and pressurization controls configured to activate upon detection of smoke in designated zones.

ERRCS Systems
Site Assessment & RF Testing
- Performed detailed site surveys and radio frequency (RF) testing to identify signal strength deficiencies throughout the building.

System Design & Engineering
- Developed a customized ERRCS design incorporating Bi-Directional Amplifiers (BDAs), Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), coaxial cabling, and donor antennas.
- Engineered to provide reliable signal coverage across all areas of the high-rise.
Installation & Integration
- Installed all ERRCS components with proper mounting, wiring, and connectivity.
- Coordinated with the existing fire alarm system to provide comprehensive emergency response support.
Testing, Commissioning & Certification
- Conducted end-to-end testing of the ERRCS to validate signal coverage, clarity, and reliability.
- Certification achieved by meeting all applicable IFC and NFPA 1221 standards as well as jurisdiction-specific requirements.
